John's Clock Repairs is located in a small hamlet near Bere Regis, in Dorset, UK. A purpose built workshop enables a wide variety of clocks & barometers to be Ultrasound cleaned, repaired / restored.
Bringing your clock back to life
- The first step is for me to assess the state or condition of your clock to see exactly what needs to be done in order to bring it back to life.
- Prior to any work being carried out, I need to conduct an inspection to enable a Report and Estimate to be produced for you.
- On acceptance of the Estimate, work commences against an advised timescale.
- Should additional work be required, the estimated price will not be exceeded without your knowledge and permission.
- The delivery / collection of your clock is welcome, as this helps keep final costs down. Collection & delivery / installation of Long Case Clocks can be arranged. A mileage charge is applied.

Recent repairs or refurbishments include...
Grandfather Clocks, Wall, Bracket or Mantle clocks through to mass-produced Quartz Movements. Servicing Carriage Clocks also forms a substantial activity.
A growing trend of converting worn out mechanical clocks to a Quartz Movement is also catered for. I also service Barometers / Barographs.
